(DSS) – Liquid/Gas

Safecraft, an international manufacturer of aircraft and motorsports fire suppression systems, has developed a dual stage fire suppression (DSS) system for heavy duty vehicle applications: Transit and school buses, yellow iron, trucks, mining, marine and other high risk applications. The (DSS) system provides the ultimate suppression system by combining two of the most effective fire suppression technologies into a single system: Gaseous and Liquid. Basic System: DSS_SHL100.

The DSS system has multiple stages of suppression (gaseous-liquid) and an interface drivers control panel. The drivers control panel provides a display for following: Green LED (system on), Red LED ( System actuated), audible (works with Red LED). The system includes multiple actuation points and comes standard with manual, electric and our live wire actuation. The DSS system provides the ultimate advantages in our aircraft gaseous systems, and the added benefits of utilizing a bio-degradable liquid suppression agent for multiple advantages: surface fire protection, secondary fire coverage, and cooling.  

Stage 1- Gaseous
When activated, introduces a predetermined quantity of fire suppressant gas.  Through a chemical reaction, this provides almost instant suppression of the fire.

Stage 2- Liquid
Stage 2 introduces biodegradable liquid suppression foam throughout the surface area. Biodegradable foam has virtually no cleanup, and provides secondary fire suppression coverage.

This system is designed for the highest level of fire suppression. This system is a modular design that allows a very fast in service time should the system actuate. Furthermore, the system is plug for both the electrical and the plumbing. There is not other  system that offers complete exchange and back in operation in one hour.
